خودروی مفهومی جدید نیسان که به فرم یک کراس اوور بوده با نام IMx در نمایشگاه خودروی توکیو ۲۰۱۷ حضور خواهد یافت. تکنولوژی خودران بخش پررنگ این خودرو خواهد بود.
هفته پیش تیزرهای زیادی از این خودرو منتشر شد. IMx از پلتفرم الکتریکی نیسان استفاده کرده و بنابراین دارای کابینی بزرگ و مرکز ثقل پایین بوده و کمپانی قول داده که IMx هندلینگ تیزی را ارائه خواهد کرد.
نیروبخش کانسپ جدید نیسان دو پیشرانه الکتریکی بوده که یکی روی اکسل عقب و دیگری روی اکسل جلو است. این دو پیشرانه قدرت ۴۲۹ اسبی و گشتاور ۷۰۰ نیوتون متری داشته و باتری آن ظرفیت بالایی داشته که محدوده حرکتی بیش از ۶۰۰ کیلومتری را ایجاد می‌کند. این عملکرد بسیار بیشتر از محدوده حرکتی نسل جدید نیسان لیف می‌باشد.
